A Reader's Opinion: LOVE'S SUNRISE by Dorothy Wiley

LOVE'S SUNRISE by Dorothy Wiley

A READER'S OPINION

Dorothy Wiley has a way of bringing the American frontier to life with her descriptive writing. In LOVE'S SUNRISE we meet Gabe McGrath and Martha Wyllie. He's down on his luck and carries a lot of grief, but he's optimistic about the future. She's the daughter of a rancher with a secret that prevents her from acting on the instant attraction she feels for Gabe. They both carry their own heartaches and the grief keeps them apart. Slowly, a bond is formed as they each face the past, because it's the only way for them to have a future. The author mixes in some adventure with the romance and realistic emotions. I like that Martha is a strong woman and Gabe is a man who lets her be strong even when he keeps her safe and gives her comfort.

LOVE'S SUNRISE shows beautiful imagery and it's obvious the author wanted the reader to experience the historical setting with accuracy. Gabe and Martha's story is tender and tragic with their grief but also has a happy ending. Readers who enjoy historical American romance will appreciate LOVE'S SUNRISE.

BOOK SYNOPSIS

Gabe McGrath has finally paid for his land among the blue-green pastures and rolling hills of 1806 frontier Kentucky. During a violent storm—the second worst night of his life—Gabe seeks shelter at the home of a nearby cattleman and meets the man’s stunning, strong-willed daughter, Martha Wyllie. But his burdens of grief and a desire for justice stand in the way of Gabe’s happiness. And Martha holds a sacred, secret promise deep in her heart that makes her deny her attraction to the handsome neighbor. While Gabe heroically confronts both the haunting tragedies of the past and the heartbreaking and wide-ranging violence of a brutal gang, Martha must make a heartrending choice between keeping her word and following her heart.

LOVE’S SUNRISE is a riveting historical romance teeming with action and brimming with emotional realism. Dorothy Wiley, an Amazon bestselling and award-winning author, has artfully written a memorable story that will touch your heart.
