Until a beautiful woman on a stormy night comes to his door looking for shelter for her and her ailing father. She brings emotional turmoil to him, and his defenses are in jeopardy of crumbling for the first time since his family's tragedy. Isabelle Rose, a young woman on the run from an abusive fiancé, finds herself at the mercy of a very intimidating man. She needs to tend to her ailing father but instead of shelter they were treated like thieves thrust in the dungeon. Isabelle can't help but feel sympathy for her tormentor. She feels his pain and despair, her heart melts for him and the scars on his face cease to exist for her, but her past comes back to haunt her with a vengeance, and a future with the man who has captured her love with his scared heart is threatened before it has a chance to thrive. A beautiful story of Beauty and the Beast, a scarred Prince, and a lonely beautiful young woman. This is not the typical children's tale, but a tale for adults with a twist. The story will captivate the reader and engage the heart with the anguish a young Adam endured. His will to survive until his meeting with Isabelle gives him something to live for. Masterfully written with the adult in mind, it contains scenes suitable for adults.
